Collection of Art by:Celebrated Artist-Painter-Designer ...Total 5 Paintings....L.Cambrillat Cira 1870-1950s.......Lyon France.He was an accomplished artist -Genius when it came to designing Glass eyes,a member of the Cambrillat Dynasty-France.....Relatives still very active in Designing Glass eyes. Although he was a master at this ,his passion was in his painting.Exhibiting in Gallery on Paris rue Lafitte.Notice picture of last painting here-No.4 in lower left hand corner,placed their when put in Exhibitions.This painting with the No.4 in lower left hand corner has been kept by collector----,..Up for auction are 5 Paintings by L.Cambrillat,one done Cira 1896-other Cira 1925.Only 2 known of Wife pictured in early one,and daughter pictured in later one.7 paintings within a painting.Rarely seen outside of Europe,these were brought to North America by grand daughter some years ago.When down sizing ,put part of art collection up for sale....Over his career ,he painted aprox 3-400 Oil on Canvas-various sizes-these two...15 inches by 18 inches-unframed.......Modest opening..........Cambrillat was involved in art,aprox same time as Pablo Picasso worked in France....Picassos Portrait of his wife just sold at auction for $95,200,000........Titled Dora Maar.............Thanks for Looking.........
